This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how your Personal Data will be treated. This Policy may be updated from time to time.

This Policy supplements but does not supersede or replace any previous consent which you may have provided to SILVERLAKE and its related companies (hereinafter referred to as “SILVERLAKE”, “our”, “us” or “we”), nor does it affect any rights that SILVERLAKE may have at law in connection with the Processing (as defined below) of any Personal Data (as defined below).

IP addresses

When you visit our website our server will record your IP address together with the date, time and duration of your visit. We use this information to compile statistical data on the use of our website to track how users navigate through our site. We do this so we can evaluate and improve our site.


Security and retention of Personal Data

SILVERLAKE has appropriate technical, administrative and physical procedures in place to prevent unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks to personal information in its possession.If you submit Personal Data through third party websites, we are not responsible in any way for the security and/or management of personal information shared by you with such third party websites.

SILVERLAKE will retain your personal information for the time necessary to fulfil any legal or business purposes.


Transfer of information

It may be necessary for us to transfer your personal information outside the country if any of our group companies, service providers or strategic partners is located overseas. In the event that we do so, we will ensure that the Personal Data transferred will be subject to a standard of protection comparable to that provided in the country.


Activities undertaken prior to 2 July 2014

Policy on telephone numbers registered with the Do-Not-Call Registry

We will not send unsolicited telemarketing messages (“specified messages”) to your telephone numbers if you have registered them with the Do-Not-Call Registry (“DNC Registry”) in Singapore unless we have your clear and unambiguous consent to do so.


However, we may continue to contact you at the telephone numbers provided to us in the limited circumstances allowed under the DNC Registry even though you have registered these telephone numbers with the DNC Registry.
